This document, also known as a Living Will, directs the physician to withhold or continue life sustaining procedures in the event of an incurable or irreversible condition under the circumstances provided therein.
No one wants to be in the position of needing this document. It’s not enough to simply discuss your wishes with your spouse, relative or friend. A Directive to Physicians or Living Will is required in order to assure your wishes are carried out.
